Job Overview: Functional Medicine Doctor
As the Functional Medicine Doctor, you will research, develop, and lead the Functional Medicine Division at Dream Spa Medical. You will serve as the clinical authority for this division, ensuring compliant prescribing practices, structured program development, measurable patient outcomes, and profitable integration into our existing systems.
This role blends strategic leadership with hands-on execution, overseeing the development of structured functional programs, membership-based continuity models, compliant prescribing frameworks, physician oversight systems, and scalable infrastructure to support expansion across all DSM locations.
You will collaborate closely with executive leadership, clinical teams, marketing, and sales to ensure seamless integration into the Dream Spa Medical ecosystem.
Required Competencies: Functional Medicine Doctor
- Doctoral-level licensure with prescribing authority in Massachusetts.
- Deep knowledge of functional medicine protocols including labs, hormones, GLP-1, peptides, thyroid optimization, IV therapy, and supplementation.
- Strong understanding of Massachusetts prescribing regulations and compliance requirements.
- Ability to design structured, tiered treatment programs including high-ticket packages and membership continuity models.
- Systems-driven thinker capable of building scalable clinical frameworks.
- Leadership ability to oversee and train Nurse Practitioners, RNs, Wellness Consultants, and Health Coaches within the Functional Division.
- Ability to interpret labs and track measurable clinical marker improvement.
- Comfortable presenting educational workshops, webinars, and recorded content.
- Collaborative mindset with executive leadership on ROI tracking and strategic growth.
- Strong communication skills with both patients and cross-functional teams.
- Self-starter with high accountability and long-term vision.
